Description of the Test Kit

Dust mites are responsible for 80% of allergic asthma cases in children and 50% of allergic asthma cases in adults!
1 gram of dust can contain up to 10,000 dust mites!
One in two homes exceeds the sensitization threshold of 2 µg/g of dust, above which the risk of producing allergy antibodies has been demonstrated (Platts-Mills et al., 1997).
Dust mites are the primary allergens found in household dust. Dust mite allergy is associated with the development of respiratory conditions (such as asthma) and allergic reactions (rhinitis, runny nose, sneezing, conjunctivitis, etc.). Treatments for dust mites exist, but they hide everywhere—in mattresses, stuffed animals, couches, and carpets—where they slowly multiply by feeding on dead skin cells, hair, and nail clippings.
It is the remains of dead dust mites and their feces that trigger allergies. These particles are present in dust and are dispersed into the air through everyday activities or household chores.

Cat allergies:
- accounts for 30% of respiratory allergies!
- is caused by an allergen found primarily in the animal’s skin, not in its fur
- even if you don’t have a cat at home, cat allergens may still be present in your home due to their high volatility (transferred via clothing and cat hair) and their durability!
For someone prone to cat allergies, the presence of pet allergens can trigger respiratory conditions (such as asthma) and allergic reactions (rhinitis, runny nose, sneezing, conjunctivitis, etc.).
