Description of the Analysis Kit
PFAS, or perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, are a class of chemicals that persist in the environment, characterized by their carbon-fluorine bonds. Used for several decades in a variety of industrial and household applications due to their water-repellent and non-stick properties, PFAS have become ubiquitous in the environment, contaminating the air, water, and soil.
Their persistence in the environment and their ability to accumulate in biological tissues have raised growing concerns due to their potentially harmful effects on human health.
Studies have linked exposure to PFAS to health issues such as endocrine disruption, effects on the immune system, and increased risks of certain cancers. In response to these concerns, global efforts are underway to better understand, control, and eliminate these substances of concern from our environment.

How to Use the Testing Kit
Results and turnaround time
Your sample is analyzed in our laboratory, and your analysis report will be available no later than 15 business days after we receive the sample. You will receive a comprehensive and easy-to-understand report.
To assess your body’s PFAS contamination, the laboratory has compiled analysis data from hair samples collected since 2023. The statistical data from this compilation allows us to compare your result to that of the French population, given the lack of toxicological reference values for individual exposure to PFAS.
